CAMPDEN ROAD, SOUTH CROYDON


Work is coming on with the Campden Road site, conversion an existing house into seven 1 and 2 bedroom flats. All appears to be on programme, client is happy and the agents think they will all sell very easily so happy days.

CHICHELE ROAD, OXTED


Making progress on site, rear front and side extensions all now coming together. As we have progressed it has been come clear that the house has been extended a number of times over the course of its life, which has made our job slightly more complicated in terms of managing the structural elements.

We have just returned from an amazing trip to Vancouver, a beautiful vibrant city surrounded by the most remarkable landscape of mountains, forests and waterfalls. I suggest anybody who who has the opportunity to visit should take it up.

RESIDENTIAL DEVELOPMENT, CAMBRIDGESHIRE




MBA  were approached by a private client looking at the potential for a residential development in a rural edge of village setting in Cambridgeshire. We put together a concept plan accommodating 10 houses with options for community assests and presented to the Local Authority at a Pre-Application meeting. Despite my initial apathy and lack of expectation they were very supportive of the scheme and advised to progress the scheme toward a full application.....................

CHICHELE ROAD, OXTED


The construction of a large ground and first floor rear, front and side extension is well under way. ACTIVE ELDERLY DEVELOPMENT HAMPSHIRE


Scheme is ready to be submitted for planning, providing 18 new homes for the over 60's, a multi-function hall and spa in a sustainable environment with all the facilities on site for full and active retirement. Set in South Downs National Park it has been designed to cause minimal impact on the visual amenity of the landscape with buildings that hopefully blend in in terms of setting and materials. Just hope the planners agree?

The basement dig is getting deeper, site visit last week to find he's only started to dig a second basement. Let's hope the Structural Engineer knows his stuff !!

We are very close to completing the design and planning application for an over 55's residential in Hampshire. A backland scheme providing a mix of houses and flats set round a shared communal courtyard. Watch this space to see if the planners agree with us!!

ASSISTED LIVING COULSDON


The conversion and refurbishment of a new assisted living facility in Coulsdon is nearly finished and is due for completion early March. Designed to provide a care facility for six residents giving them the benefit of semi-independent living. The facility is being run and operated by SIA Infinity Care who provide a range of care services throughout Croydon, Tandridge and the surrounding areas http://www.saiinfinitycare.co.uk/. I look forward to working with Sat and Sacha on their next project.

ACTIVE ELDERLY DEVELOPMENT HAMPSHIRE


Currently working up a planning application for a new "Active Elderly" care facility located within an existing Golf Club. Scheme will provide a mix of 1 and 2 bed sustainable houses. Good use of land and existing social and leisure facilities to provide a very useful and necessary service.

It also quite nice getting out the old 2B pencils and coloured markers to do some good old fashioned colouring in and hand drawn presentations.
